PCS will commonly be engaged in a client relationship with a “Technology Assessment.” A technology assessment is a vital tool in determining where improvements are necessary in current infrastructure and technologies. It is also extremely useful in determining the best path towards future needs or goals. We do not just look at the hardware and cabling alone but we evaluate systems and or devices running on the networks how well each works together. Often times our clients are unaware that certain technologies could directly impact the operation. The impact can be either positive or negative. Our goal is to understand from staff and decision-makers, the specific organizational “BIG PICTURE” objectives as well as the current deployment. We would then provide a client with documentation that gives detailed information on their current infrastructure as well as recommendations for improvement to meet enterprise technology goals.
